Excel-Crete Tintable Additive is a single-component, acrylic additive for use with the Excel-Crete K/D powder. Upon mixing of the two components the pigmented material may be sprayed or trowel applied to provide a decorative texture or finish pattern. Excel-Crete Tintable Additive is tinted in-house by Sunshine Supply.

Excel-Coat Fire System

The Excel-Coat Fire System is specifically designed to provide a waterproof wearing surface for exterior and interior pedestrian traffic areas where waterproofing and a "Class A", one hour fire rating are essential. It is ideal for walking decks, balconies and stairways. The Excel-Coat Fire System provides durable protection with ultraviolet light stability and allows for easy maintenance. The Excel-Coat K/D & K/D II Systems are colorful, decorative, skid resistant coatings for pool decks, patios, entryways, walkways and wall finishes. In addition to providing an attractive walking surface, these systems allow for easy maintenance and will protect the substrate from the damaging effects of ultraviolet light, salt and water. The KD System consists of:

  • Excel-Crete Tinted Additive is mixed with the Excel-Crete K/ D powder to provide a pigmented polymer modified cement. The mixed cement product is used to provide a texture or pattern coat over Excel-Coat waterproof deck coating systems or on-grade as a decorative finish.

Limitations

  • Not for areas intended for vehicular traffic.
  • Do not apply in constantly submerged conditions such as reflecting ponds or tank linings.
  • Do not apply directly to plywood. For plywood applications refer to the Excel-Coat Fire System Application Guide.
  • On-grade applications require appropriate surface preparation and prime coat.
