GreenBond WB is fair weather and water-based single-component. It is also solvent-free and liquid polymer emulsion adhesive/sealant. GreenBond WB may not be used where ambient and substrate temperatures fall below 40°F and it must not be allowed to freeze. GreenBond WB is light green in appearance.
GreenBond WB is an accessory product used in conjunction with CCW air, vapor barrier membranes and CCW MiraDRI 860/861 self-adhering sheet waterproofing membrane. It is also used as an adhesive for attaching CCW MiraDRAIN drainage composites and CCW R2+ polyiso insulation board. GreenBond WB is designed to be used as a fillet and reinforcement under CCW MiraDRI 860/861 membranes at foundation wall footings/wall transitions or inside corners on walls. It can also be used to protect termination edges, overlaps, patches, and any additional detailing areas. It can also be used around pipes and penetrations, and to fill small voids in substrates under the membrane.
Other applications include terminations and flashing to protrusions from horizontal and vertical surfaces; terminations at drains; and detailing of the substrate prior to CCW MiraDRI 860/861 membrane application. GreenBond WB can also be used with CCW-705 Air and Vapor Barrier and to adhere R2+ polyiso insulation board over approved substrates.
Applications
GreenBond WB should be applied directly from the gallon with sealant trowel or putty knife at a thickness of 40–50 wet mils unless otherwise specified when used as a fillet bead. At membrane terminations, use 60 mils of GreenBond WB as a flashing and apply at a minimum of 2" (5 cm) wide over the CCW waterproofing or AVB membrane, and a minimum 1" (2.5 cm) onto the surface being waterproofed. CCW MiraDRI 860/861, CCW-705, CCW Barritech NP, CCW Barriseal, and CCW Barricoat can be applied over GreenBond WB. Allow GreenBond WB to cure a minimum of 12 hours prior to covering with a CCW membrane. Curing times will vary based upon atmospheric conditions and direct sunlight. |
