KOSTER NB 2 White is a white cementitious coating which may be used for waterproofing against ground moisture, non-pressurized or pressurized water. Waterproofing undertaken with KOSTER NB 2 White has excellent resistance to water pressure and abrasion as well as excellent resistance to chemicals. KOSTER NB 2 White should only be applied on building structures where crack development is not expected.

Coverage: One 55 lb bag will cover approx. 110 sq ft. A minimum of 0.5 lb/sq ft is required for most applications. If brush applied at 0.5 lb/sq ft, apply 2 coats at 0.25 lb/sq ft each.

Fields of Application

KOSTER NB 2 White is ideal for waterproofing visible surfaces against pressurized water, such as horizontal and vertical concrete, masonry, or cement plaster. It can be used to seal wet rooms, bathrooms, showers, new basements, tanks, and manholes.

Application

Mix one 55 lb bag of KOSTER NB 2 White with 8.45 qts of water and 1-2 qts KOSTER SB Bonding Emulsion. Mix using a slow speed mixer, adding the powder gradually to the mixing water. Apply the material by brush or by spraying device in at least two coats. The coating must not be exposed to heat, frost, or strong winds during the installation and for at least 24 hours afterwards.
