Aussie Swell Red 940 Waterstop 16.4' per Roll

Aussie Swell Red is a hydrophilic strip water stop and that is a formulated blend of sodium bentonite & butyl rubber. Aussie Swell Red is an active water stop which reacts with water to seal construction joints within concrete. The seal resists hydrostatic pressure, stopping the passage of water through the joint.

Due to the sodium bentonite content, on contact with water, Aussie Swell Red will swell (expand) within its confinement, self-injecting into localized voids & minor fissures. Aussie Swell Red is an active water stop designed to replace passive PVC/Rubber water bars, without the need for pre-formed intersections, split forming or seam welding.

• Non-dimensional swell allows complete injection to surrounding voids

Applications

Aussie Swell Red can be applied to concrete, steel or pipe (PVC). Coil ends are butt-jointed (not overlapped) to form a continuous waterstop. Use in concrete joints, pipe penetrations, wall-to-floor joints, irregular surfaces, etc.
