e.shield 205 is an extremely durable, high strength protection course made from the lamination of HDPE film and nonwoven polypropylene geotextile fabric. e.shield 205 has been specifically designed to be high performance protection course for application over e.spray in various E.Series assemblies. In addition to the advantages found by combining a high density polyethylene film (HDPE) and geotextile, e.shield 205 contains micro-perforations that further enhance the mechanical bond that is formed between system and the concrete substrate. Most commonly used in the E.Proformance underslab assemblies for waterproofing, methane, and contaminate vapor intrusion protection, e.shield 205 can be used in other assemblies when project conditions make e.shield 205b a less than ideal option.

Applications

  • Rolls should be inspected for cosmetic damage prior to application. e.shield 205 may be applied over a nominally cured e.spray membrane. Whenever possible, e.shield 205 should be applied perpendicular to the underlying base course. Overlap all seams a minimum of 6” with seam overlap detail per project specification.

Limitations
