About This Product

Details

ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX Initiator is a powder used with the ADCOS ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX acrylate injection system to initiate the curing process. The system includes a resin, a hardener, and an initiator. ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX is a highly flexible acrylate injection resin. With viscosity near water, it is ideal for long distance and fine crack injection. Its variable reaction time ensures sealing and penetrations in a variable application field such as wastewater treatment plants, nuclear energy facilities, educational and healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, and more.

Mixing & Adjusting Reaction Time

Shake each component separately. Determine your desired reaction time (gel time) and refer to the table above, then proceed with the following steps:

Mixture 1: In a clean bucket, pour the desired amount of ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX RESIN. Add 18% of ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX HARDENER. Mix well.

Mixture 2: In a separate clean bucket, add potable water of equal quantity to the ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX RESIN previously poured. Add ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX INITIATOR (powder) per Reaction Times & Mix Ratios table. Mix well.

Perform a reaction test to ensure proper reaction time. With suitable reaction test, inject material per manufacturer’s instructions. Once complete, clean equipment and flush lines with potable water mixed with a mild detergent.
