About This Product

Details

ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX is a highly flexible acrylate injection resin. With viscosity near water, it is ideal for long distance and fine crack injection. Its variable reaction time ensures sealing and penetrations in a variable application field such as wastewater treatment plants, nuclear energy facilities, educational and healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, and more.

Features & Benefits

Multi-component acrylate flexible gelNon-Flammable
Elongation of 300%Excellent adhesion to masonry building materials
Water absorption 33%Will not disperse in water
Adjustable reaction timeNon-shrinking properties after curing
Non-toxic: does not contain acrylamide, meth-acrylamide, formaldehyde or solventsExcellent durability in wet-dry cycles when cured

Application

A variable reaction time ensures sealing and penetrations in a variable application field, such as wastewater treatment plants, nuclear energy facilities, educational and healthcare facilities, commercial spaces, and more:
Curtain groutingDynamic joints
Map crackingLong-distance permeation
Honeycombed annular concrete

Mixing & Adjusting Reaction Time

Shake each component separately. Determine your desired reaction time (gel time) and refer to the table above, then proceed with the following steps:

Mixture 1: In a clean bucket, pour the desired amount of ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX RESIN. Add 18% of ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX HARDENER. Mix well.

Mixture 2: In a separate clean bucket, add potable water of equal quantity to the ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX RESIN previously poured. Add ACRYLINJECT AC FLEX INITIATOR (powder) per Reaction Times & Mix Ratios table. Mix well.

Perform a reaction test to ensure proper reaction time. With suitable reaction test, inject material per manufacturer’s instructions. Once complete, clean equipment and flush lines with potable water mixed with a mild detergent.

Shelf Life & Storage

Store between 40°F and 90°F. Low temperatures will affect viscosity. If field conditions are below 40°F, electric heating bands or warm water baths can be utilized before installation. (DO NOT get water into any open containers). Do not exceed 90°F when artificially heating.

Shelf life: 24 months after production date in the original, unopened, and undamaged packaging. Shelf life cannot be guaranteed if the above recommendations are not followed.
