SpecSeal Thermal Barrier Wrap 34" x 72"

STI Thermal Barrier Wrap is a protective wrap material that, when exposed to elevated temperatures during fire conditions, releases chemically bound water to have a cooling effect along with superior high temperature insulation performance. It is used to protect mission critical electrical components for up to 2 hours. It can also be used to provide equal F and T Ratings for membrane penetrations of larger utility boxes in gypsum board/ stud wall assemblies.

• Up to 2 hour fire ratings for circuit protection applications
• Flexible material easy to install even on small diameter conduits
• Does not contain refractory ceramic fiber (RCF)

Applications

• Protecting electrical circuits including cables, conduits, cable trays
• Membrane penetrations of utility boxes including electrical panels, medical gas boxes, elevator call boxes
