Super Krete S-9500 Stain Base 5 Gallon Unit

S-9500 Color Stain Base is a water-based hybrid acrylic/urethane stain that is available in 20 Standard Colors (sold separately). It is an easy to use stain for interior and exterior, old and new cementitious substrates, CMU block walls and other porous substrates. It is an ideal stain for other Super-Krete products, such as, S-9300 Bond-Kote Gray, S-9302 Bond-Kote White, S-9304 Micro-Bond Gray, S-9306 Micro-Bond White, S-1800 Super-Stamp Gray and S-1801 Super-Stamp White.

S-9500 Color Stain is translucent and does not look like solid color paints. With experience the installer can create hardscapes with a wide variety of decorative finishes, such as, but not limited to variegated highlighted textures, faux wood and stone finishes looks, decorative antiquing of concrete or cementitious overlayments.

The first coat is usually spray applied, at a rate of 300 square feet (27.87 square meters) per gallon (3.79 liters) and scrubbed into the substrate with soft-bristle broom. A second coat is often applied after the first coat has cured to intensify the color. Before the final coat dries highlighting features are accomplished with a darker or complementary color making the application truly one of a kind.
