Before applying to any substrate, Dumond always recommends performing a test with the product before a full-scale application. Recommended for use on wood, brick, stone, marble, terra cotta, granite, terrazzo, concrete, cement, stucco, plaster, metal, cast iron, steel, tin, copper, tile, enamel, clapboard, and slate. If you do not see your substrate in the “Recommended Substrates” or “Limitations” section, perform a small test to determine product efficiency.

Peel Away 1 is not recommended for use on fiberglass, veneer, plywood, drywall, aluminum, brownstone, sandstone, limestone, laminated glass, plexiglass, plastic, rubber, and EIFS. Peel Away 1 will darken hardwoods. Not recommended to remove latex, epoxy, urethane, enamel, chlorinated rubber, cementitious coatings, basked finishes, and other high-performance coatings.
