Protecto Roof Edge Seal 12" x 25' Roll

Roof Edge Seal is a cold applied self-adhering waterproof roofing underlayment. Roof Edge Seal is internally reinforced with a strong non-woven polyester fabric. The membrane has adhesive on both sides that helps bond the roof covering to the roof deck. The adhesive is comprised of our proprietary asphalt adhesive. Roof Edge Seal is designed to work best when it is used along with Jiffy Seal Ice & Water Guard HT, HT 25 and Butyl on the eave edge and/or rake edge.

Applications

Used as an adhesive bonding strip at the roof rake edges to help bond the roof covering to the roof deck and prevent wind uplift on the shingle edge. Can be used at low slope areas down to 2:12 pitch, Hip, Ridge, Rake edges, Confined Rake edges, around skylights and chimneys.
