Excel-Coat Glaze is a single-component, acrylic polymer clear top coat. The Excel-Coat Glaze is a clear acrylic resin to be used as a top coat. This top coat can be used with all Excel-Coat systems.

The Excel-Coat K/D & K/D II Systems are colorful, decorative, skid resistant coatings for pool decks, patios, entryways, walkways and wall finishes. In addition to providing an attractive walking surface, these systems allow for easy maintenance and will protect the substrate from the damaging effects of ultraviolet light, salt and water. Applications

Excel-Coat Glaze is specifically designed to provide a clear top coat for interior or exterior pedestrian traffic areas such as walking decks, balconies, patios, stairways and pool areas. Suitable substrates for the Excel-Coat Glaze are existing Excel-Coat waterproofing systems such as two-tone textures, Excel-Coat K/D systems as well as other waterproofing membranes and concrete walking surfaces. Excel-Coat Glaze provides durable protection that is virtually impervious to ultraviolet light and allows easy maintenance of the surface.

Limitations

Not for areas intended for vehicular traffic.
Do not apply in constantly submerged conditions such as reflecting ponds or tank linings.
Do not apply over non-structural lightweight concrete without prior written approval.
Not recommended as a top coat around pool areas.
