Albion 5-1; 2" Thrust Washer

Placed between the back cap and barrel inside a 2″ diameter barrel Albion Deluxe or Special Deluxe drive (DL-45, DL-59, etc.) bulk or sausage applicator the Thrust Washer (or Thrust Ring) helps you find the perfect location to set the barrel position with the 3-5 Lock Ring to allow smooth and efficient barrel rotation during dispensing. These are built into applicators as they leave the Albion factory. To reset your rotation or swivel perfectly after removing the barrel for maintenance:

1. Confirm that the Back Cap, Thrust Washer and Barrel are all clean and lightly oiled.
2. Place the washer inside the back cap with the dished (concave) side up.
3. Thread the barrel (fine threaded side) on to the back cap until it bottoms out on the ring
4. Unthread the barrel +/- one-half (1/2) turn, then lock it into position with the 3-5 Lock Ring. Confirm that the barrel swivels freely but that it does not wobble.
